IFB’s network has a strong foothold in the Benelux and extends to the North, South, East and West of Europe.  Organised in Business Units (BU) for each geographical region, we offer a high-quality network with readily available specialists closely following up your transports and listening to your logistics needs. 

• BU North follows up and enhances current connections and develops new transports between the main North Sea harbours and important industrial centres in Europe,

• BU South manages the axis Benelux - Italy or Northern-Europe - Italy,

• BU West is active on the axis Belgium / Northern-Europe – France - Spain and Belgium / Northern-Europe - UK,

• BU East deals with all transports for Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Balkan region, Romania and Turkey and is currently developing the South-East axis substantially.

With headquarters in Belgium, subsidiaries in France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, and commercial and operational activities in Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland and Turkey, IFB is organised to give local commercial and operational support throughout Europe.

International Logistics Group

IFB is the specialist in intermodal logistics solutions and terminal operations within the SNCB Logistics Group.  The company is an autonomous subsidiary of SNCB Logistics and acts as a neutral player on the European market. Its subsidiary H&S Container Line is the specialist for inland navigation between the North Sea harbours and the economic centres in the Rhine area. The cooperation between the two companies leads to a unique service offer in railway transport and inland navigation.

As a member of SNCB Logistics, IFB can complete its logistics services offering. Sister company Xpedys provides qualitative and sustainable logistics solutions for conventional transport (automotive, bulk, chemicals, metals, raw materials, consumer goods, …).
